Zero-Tolerance Policy

Vintage Hype Paris has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards counterfeit, replica, or fraudulently described items. We take the integrity of the luxury resale market seriously, and every item submitted to VHP is subject to expert authentication before listing.

Authentication Process

All items are reviewed by VHP's authentication team, which assesses:

  • Hardware, stitching, and construction quality
  • Date codes, serial numbers, and stamps
  • Materials and finishing against known authentic references
  • Accompanying authenticity cards, dust bags, boxes, and receipts where available
  • Provenance information provided by the Seller

Authentication is carried out in good faith and to the best of VHP's ability. VHP is not liable for items that are later discovered to be counterfeit after sale.

What Happens if an Item Fails Authentication

If an item is determined to be counterfeit, a replica, or significantly misrepresented:

  • The item will not be listed for sale.
  • The Seller will be notified immediately.
  • The item will be returned to the Seller at the Seller's cost within 14 business days.
  • VHP reserves the right to terminate the Seller's account.

Legal Obligations

Knowingly submitting a counterfeit item for sale is a criminal offence in most jurisdictions. VHP reserves the right to report suspected fraud to relevant authorities. Sellers are solely responsible for any legal consequences arising from the submission of counterfeit goods.

Seller Warranty

By submitting items to VHP, the Seller warrants that all items are genuine, legally owned, and accurately described. Any misrepresentation is a breach of the Seller Terms & Conditions.
